A series of student organised and led talks, featuring real industry professionals at the University of Reading.

Event planning and branding

Alongside the Baseline Shift calendar, myself and fellow team member, Habibah, organised, designed and hosted daytime design sessions and a department wide evening celebrating Toshi Omagari, and video game typography.

This project included the unique opportunity to try 3D modelling and product design, experiment with laser printing and cutting and grow painfully knowledgable about how tedious prototyping can be! Read the full post on the experience below!

Leading the team

A series of talks, events and workshops helping students expand and redefine their understanding of what a designer is, and what design can do.

During my time as team leader of the Baseline Shift team, I had the pleasure to host designers such as Harkiran Kalsi, Katarina Duvnjak, Jake Paul, and many more. During my time I completed weekly sessions over the course of two years and had the pleasure to talk with (and stay in touch with many) talented and inspirational designers from all walks of life. You can read my blog post reflecting on this job below!
